    Role Purpose: Process incoming customer orders/sample orders, prepare freight quotes, address inquiries, follow up on shipments and orders, follow up on prepayments and assist with problem resolution.     Receives and processes sales orders and sample orders received by telephone, fax, mail, or electronic services in an efficient and expedient manner

    Prepares, forwards, and retains order acknowledgements

    Enters and maintains customer information and “special pricing” database

    Route orders via customer’s preferred method, direct routing, indirect routing, portal entry etc.

    Invoice shipments and send shipping documents to the customer in a timely manner.

    Process credit card payments

    Works closely with sales representatives to be proactive in meeting customer needs and keeping them informed of all activities associated with their accounts

    Collaborates closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Accounting to ensure seamless execution of on time order fulfillment

    Adheres to departmental service level agreements and responds to customers within 24 hours

    Recommends additional sales to meet minimum orders or identifies opportunities to offer alternate sizes when applicable.

    Proactively monitors and keeps customers and sales advised of shipment dates, production schedules, delivery dates

    Assists shipping with efforts to maintain quality service by maintaining updated shipping and packaging requirements

    Prepares and runs KPI reports and performs special projects as requested

    Supports team members and serves as back up to absorb workload of other team members when they are out

    Researches and responds to customer complaints in accordance with our CAPA policy and procedures.

    Assists in quarterly and annual audits

    • Build Marketing insights through Analytics:  

    • Identify market and consumer trends on different cosmetic market segments using multiple information sources and databases (e.g. Mintel, Euromonitor, Gravel, Spate, Google etc.). Analyze and summarize relevant findings  

    • Identify new market research tools for TRI-K to continue staying on top of emerging trends 

    • Research imports data from multiple sources to identify trends on volumes and prices on different ingredients across multiple global regions. Analyze and summarize findings.   

    • Conduct extensive research on our competitors' products using different platforms and databases. Evaluate benefits, claims, value proposition, prices and promotional materials. Generate reports summarizing relevant findings.  

    • Investigate areas of improvement for our products and promotional materials based on all research carried out.  

    • Create a regular cadence of communication with strategic marketing team on findings 

    • Build Marketing Campaigns with greater international focus: Given strategic plan of TRI-K to grow exponentially outside US, understand and focus on targeted international regions. Create visually engaging marketing campaigns including email campaigns to support specific marketing objectives across various channels and customer segments, aligning with the overall strategic marketing plan. Formulate a comprehensive strategy encompassing digital and social media to promote events, product launches, and brand awareness, fostering customer engagement. 

    • Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with multiple departments to facilitate seamless product launches, encompassing presentations, press releases, advertisement development, collateral creation, and coordination with media partners for promotional activities. 

    • Trade Show Planning and Execution: Lead the planning and execution of both global and domestic trade shows, ensuring effective representation of the company's brand and products within budget. 

    • Website Maintenance: Maintain and update the company website, UL Prospector, Sharefile, and other third-party digital platforms, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for stakeholders. Improve traffic and engagement 

    • Customer Engagement Strategy: Support customer and consumer face-to-face interaction strategies, including organizing meetings and webinars to enhance engagement. Improve non-personal engagement on website and other digital media 

    • Campaign Performance Evaluation: Track campaign performance and ensure generated leads are actioned. 

    • Team Training: Provide training and input to Sales, Strategic Marketing team and related partners on Marketing initiatives and outcomes. 

    • Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports related to marketing outcomes, providing insights and recommendations for future strategies and initiatives. 

     

    Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Marketing or related field, with 5+ years’ experience. Chemistry or Biology background is a plus. 

    Exposure to the personal care industry is a considerable advantage.

    • Develops new hair/skin evaluations protocols 

    • Continuously learn the latest technologies in cosmetic industry

    • Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously with high quality, data integrity, flexibility, and organization

    • Have excellent time management skills and ability to meet project deadlines

    • Excellent analytical, attention to details, data analysis and statistical analysis, technical writing and time management skills are required

    • Hands on experience with hair/skin instrumental and clinical evaluations is a plus

    • Proficient with Word, Power Point, Excel, Image Analysis Instrumental Software, Statistical Analysis Software


    Requirements

    Education/Experience:

    A Bachelor/Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical, or Material Science with a minimum of 3-5 years related experience or related coursework.
